[Note - The Mr Burger chain of the SCLS mentioned here is a different company than the Mr Burger present in the US, and isn’t real. This is a satire website.]

On the evening of February 25th, 1, a pipe burst in western Cheese Land caused a massive flood of Garfunkel Sauce over the city of MrBurgerLand and surrounding areas of the east island, in what some say was one of the worst disasters of SCLS history. The accident let anywhere between 300 thousand, and 5 million gallons of Garfunkel Sauce on to the streets of Cheese Land in the span of 3 hours, killing at least 80 people. The origin of the flood took place in the Mr Burger on Baa Street, MrBurgerLand, which obviously no longer exists. The cause of the flood is known to be a sudden burst caused by the poor maintenance of that building. Till this day people report the city smelling like Garfunkel Sauce, the locals love it.

Fatalities of February 25th

The workers and customers of the Baa Street Mr Burger were obliterated instantly on that day. The sheer force of the burst blew the building to thousands of small pieces in an instant. The neighboring buildings and houses also took incredible damage, at least 15 of the total fatalities of that day were of people in that building, neighboring buildings, or passersby.

Most of the deaths that day were from people on the street being suffocated in the sauce, or from houses being bulldozed by the heavy stream. With the relatively small population of the SCL(S) at that time, the incident took a big toll on the state of the nation, many people that died on that day were important, influential people, one of which being a well known Flurg-king candidate, FlurgMicheal RoadRoller-Jones, known for his support of the controversial road roller.

Mr Burger Controversy

This event was Mr Burger’s first taste of controversy, before the #EndMrBurger campaign started around mid March, related to the abuse and low pay of the workers. The news of the cause being poor maintenance and plumbing came out around 24 hours after the initial burst, causing Mr Burger incredible backlash. On February 30th, 5 days after the flood, FlurgMicheal’s to-be vice flurg-king sued Mr Burger for 20,000 GD (around 100,000 USD) and won the case a few months later in March, with the help of the #EndMrBurger movement that swayed the case around that time.
